The Laser-Indirect Ophthalmoscope (LIO) is of essential importance in many situations, as it enables ophthalmologists to use coagulation therapy of the retina during diagnosis. In this way, retinal detachments, diabetic retinopathy and age-related macular degeneration can be treated independently of a slit lamp. The LIO is also the ideal tool for treating Retinopathy of Prematurity.
Use the advanced technology of the LIO and diagnose retinal defects. Perform subsequent laser coagulation instantly, as the portable, battery-operated FOX 514 or FOX 810 are connected to the ophthalmoscope without much time effort, thanks to the A.R.C. Laser patented click plug system.
