Fourier Domain Axial Length Measurement and Topography
High penetration capability is achieved using the Fourier Domain method, which is effective for high-speed scanning. Compared to our previous model, penetration capability is improved because the search function automatically detects the measurable area. Topography in the TMS series is useful for identifying abnormal corneal shapes that are difficult to detect with slit-lamp testing.
7 Types of Data at a Time
A single click on the “Measurement” button provides parameters for calculating IOL power from up to 7 types of data. A short scanning time benefits both examiners and patients.
High Functionality
The OA-2000 features a compact body equipped with a 10.4-inch color TFT monitor. The tilt function makes testing easier whether standing or sitting. IOL Power Calculation System: Use the measured data and calculate the IOL power. Ten calculation formulas are available, two of which are for eyes after LASIK surgery. Statistical functions are effective for support from pre-cataract surgery to post-operative surgery.
Connecting to an ultrasound device
Despite the high penetration rate of the OA-2000, there are some cases where measurement is difficult due to defective tissue and/or bleeding. Wireless communication is achieved by connecting to the Bio & Pachymeter AL-4000. IOL power calculation and data saving are also possible within the OA-2000.
